Amy Wang: Music’s most innovative business was about to implode. This time last year, Pandora was in dire straits. The company had gone from being the music industry’s gilded pioneer — exciting everyone from teens to retirees with the newfangled idea of Internet radio at the turn of the century — to a lagging joke, edged out by the rise of on-demand streaming services. Shazam Now Lets You Share Songs to Instagram Stories

JONATHAN GREIG: For over ten years, the Shazam app has helped users identify catchy tunes they hear within seconds, giving people the chance to add good songs they hear outside to their own personal library. Now, Shazam is upping the ante by allowing users to share songs they catch in Instagram Stories.In an announcement on Twitter yesterday, the company said they will add a share button to the app that will make it quick and easy to post a photo of the song you found on Instagram. Apple Hits $10B in Revenue From Services Like iTunes
