Music Licensing and Easter Programs

Easter presents an opportunity to minister to your community extraordinarily. But we also know that one of the biggest celebrations in Christianity can be one of the most challenging for worship leaders, music ministers, and creative directors who may feel the pressure to put on engaging outreach events and programs.

Easter Events & Celebrations

From Easter egg hunts to concerts and retreats to youth events, celebrations vary from church to church. But one thing most of these events have in common is music! Performance Licenses Explained

It’s easy to be confused about what music licenses you need, and why performance licenses are important. In short, a performance license grants permission to have public performances, whether live or pre-recorded music. Two Types of Performance Licenses

The CCS PERFORMmusic Onsite Facilities Music License allows churches and non-profit ministries to legally play or perform more than 28 million songs from ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC for non-exempt activities such as Easter special programs, concerts, and events. And with an extensive catalog of Christian, secular, holiday, and choral music, you are sure to find just the right songs to complement your programming.

Suppose you want to stream your programming on your church website. In that case, the WORSHIPcast Online Streaming Music License allows you to stream worship services, special events, and guest performances of these same 28 million songs, including secular Christmas music, on your website.
